TypeFlow Privacy Policy

TypeFlow is a Chrome extension that corrects and improves text in any field on any website. This policy explains what data TypeFlow handles and where it goes.

1. What TypeFlow Does

TypeFlow does not collect, store, or transmit your data to us. We do not run any servers for TypeFlow.

2. Text You Ask TypeFlow to Correct

When you ask TypeFlow to correct text, that text goes directly from your browser to the AI provider you configured: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or a local Ollama instance. That is the only place it goes, and it is subject to that provider's own privacy policy.

3. API Keys and Settings

Your API key and settings (chosen provider, model, writing style, theme) are stored using Chrome's built-in sync storage. That means they stay within your own Google account, syncing across your signed-in Chrome browsers, and are never sent to us. They are only ever used to talk to your chosen provider.

4. Analytics and Tracking

TypeFlow has no analytics, no tracking, and no ads.
