Requirements
Reel Prompter runs on iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Portrait uses Apple's Cinematic Video capture and appears only on iPhones that support it. Caption, hashtag and title suggestions need an iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on.
The Camera or Microphone Doesn't Work
Reel Prompter needs the camera and microphone to record. If you tapped Don't Allow, open the iPhone Settings app, go to Apps › Reel Prompter, and turn on Camera and Microphone. If another app is using the camera, such as a call, close it first.
The Script Doesn't Follow My Voice
- In Studio, tap the speed pill at the bottom left and choose Voice.
- Allow speech recognition when asked. If you declined, turn it on in Settings › Apps › Reel Prompter.
- Read the script as written. The prompter waits while you pause or ad-lib, and catches up when you return to the text.
- If it still doesn't move, switch to a steady speed, or scroll by hand, and email us the script language.
Where Are My Videos?
Recordings and projects are kept in Reel Prompter's own storage on your iPhone. They are not uploaded, and they are not included in iCloud or computer backups, so deleting the app deletes them. Export a finished video, or save it to Photos, to keep a copy.
Restore Pro
If you bought Pro and the app shows the Free plan, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you paid with, then tap Restore purchases on the Pro screen (You › plan card › Manage) or on the upgrade screen.
Cancel a Subscription or Free Trial
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. Open Settings › your name › Subscriptions, choose Reel Prompter Pro, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Apple handles all App Store payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot see or refund your purchase ourselves.
